In the game for year, Santé has been producing since he was sixteen but it wasn’t until he got his first job in a studio that he really started to develop as a producer. His productions are smooth, groovy and rolling. How did your music career get started in earnest?
I started playing guitar with 15 after a couple of years i got a bit board of the the typical song structure and at the same time a friend introduced me to electronic dance music, so i bought my first sampler Akai mpc 2000. Ever since I was hooked to dance music.
Where are you from and does it have an influence on your music?
I am born and raised in South Germany in a town called Ulm. After I finished high school, I moved to Berlin, and wanted to study audio engineering but never made it to the university. Insteated i worked a huge studio for 6 years where I met all my early contacts that shaped my career as a DJ and producer.

When you were getting started, which artists did you try to emulate (both musically and careerwise)?
There are so many incredible artists which inspire me, two are definitely Rick Rubin and Daft Punk as a producers, there are also many incredible dance music artist hard to name them.
When you have a tough week or a rough tour, how do you get yourself back on track?
Where and when are you at your most content/happiest?
There are exactly two things, one is when i am in the ocean surfing with my friends the other is on huge festival stage. Both have something in common, living in the present being focused on one thing nothing else.
Do you have any secret hobbies or hidden talents?
I love surfing, it´s not a secret but it´s my second favorite thing after making music
